Bivak stojí v horní části ledovcového karu na severní straně hlavního hřebene Bergellu. Je strategicky položený uprostřed cesty přes dvě vysokohorská sedla mezi italskou chatou Gianetti a švýcarskou chatou Füré. Přístup též z údolí 6-8 hodin.
